View active topics - You can see you posts and know if anyone have replied your posts and new posts

I would believe view active topics is more comprehensive than view new posts only...

well, they are all different... how many days it is considered 'active'... i also dunno... heh heh...

but from what i gather...
"view active topics" = topics that you have replied to... whether you have read or not will appear... and its topic, not posts.
"view unread posts" = posts that you have not read...
"view new posts" = basically new posts since your last visit...

gotong royong banner? where? the main site (www.setiaalam.net)? that one... whenever there's something new, then the top post gets pushed 'down'... and we just have something new... A Christmas Celebration...

Come on moderators time to wake up!!....2009 is long gone..2010 is already here..dont tell me there is no happening this year??? plse update ur front page......it seem SARA is heading towards...BC. Just peek into BJRA..lately their website showing some improvement.. alot of happenings planned in 2010

Isn't BJRA an RA forum, i.e. the official RA running the forum/website? Maybe sponsored in part by Sime the developer?

SARA is not, but is essentially a general public info sharing forum unaffiliated to any RA or developer. It will be best not to expect too much from SARA.

I'm actually surprised Ecopark owners and residents like you haven't started their own forum under the RA which I believe is not active at all in SARA (at least not to my knowledge) and do something like BJRA. Perhaps you can talk to the EP-RA and let us know here.

it will be in the best interest of the setia alam resident that the cover page be updated +it is better for the ecopark residents to be under 1 umbrella so more voices cud be heard.

anyway im merely giving a suggestion/comment...and not a bashing session.

short answer, yes, nothing officially happened this year. front page relies on information provided by the relevant parties -- organisers, etc... if they dun provide us a banner, etc... what is there to post? Organisers of the XMas program provided us with a copy of the banner, so we were able to post it up at the front page.

plus, everyone knows forum is the more active section of SARA.

but i do agree that it's best to keep everything SA (which includes EP, PKNS, etc) under one roof.
