I got myself a Katcher.
No regrets so far.
It's light, easy to clean (I have a choice of storing in a bag or just the lower compartment) and the suction is very good.

Go with Katcher. Harvey Norman is offering quite a good price for the wet and dry model. It's around RM659 (i think, cant recall the last 2 digit).

katcher is a good brand... but expensive... :)

mine only like rm300... :)

Is this true ?

I bought this model Dyson DC29 from TBM. Dyson vacuum cleaners have no discount.
I have been vacuuming since we moved into Eco Park and it is very good.

The only upright Dyson vacuum cleaner in MY is Dyson DC24
http://www.dyson.my/store/product.asp?p ... -ALLFLOORS.
We tested in TBM and found not suitable for our home. Quite small.

Was it heavy? I am thinking to get a good VC too ...
My colleague suggested me to buy Hyla which has many-many functions, but the price way far from my budget $7000+

I have difficulty walking in Tesco Setia Alam (area too large to walk without my reconstructed knee giving problems).
In comparison, using the Dyson DC29 is relatively very easy.

Miele vacuum cleaners have very good reviews but they are are not bagless.
I have not read about Hyla but the price of RM 7000+ is very expensive compared to Meile or Dyson vacuum cleaners.

I recently saw a Phillips vacuum cleaner advert on TV but didnt catch the name. it looked light and handy. I brought this Vax Pet Performance vac from the UK as its good for lifting dog hair (my fur kid is allowed indoors and molts constantly!). The only thing is the vac is heavy , ok for carpets but not really marble floors. Anyone able to recommend a light handy vacuum, not the ones you drag along the floor?

just found out over the weekend that my bro bought a dyson vacuum cleaner. recall members asking about it.

so i asked him... where and how much. sorry, but forgot to ask what model.

he said two places he knows has this -- ESH and Harvey Norman. He ended up buying from ESH as they could give him discount. paid rm1700 for it. i told him my vacuum cleaner costs only rm200. :?

anyway, my impression of it... hi-tech and very cool looking 'gadget'. quite light and looks like a transformer robot. :)
