Horrible service!!!!
Waited for almost an hour (50 minutes), they served the wrong dish.
The worst part is he NEVER appologize and insisted that I order that dish..
When I order I said sweet and sour fish.
Then he repeat asam fish!?!?!?
Then I repeated 3 more times SWEET & SOUR!!!
At the end, wat arrived is deep fried fish soaked in oil n soya sauce.
Normally I will just cincai n eat tat but his reaction really pissed me n my bf off.
Coz he kept accusing we ordered tat dish...
At the end I still pay for the untouched drinks n half drank coke.
Wil never ever go to tis restaurant even whole Setia alam hav food shortage.

We understand your complaint and shall take note of your bad experience at the restaurant in question.
Most reputable restaurants would not argue with their customers.
Some would also politely apologise and replace the wrong dishes for free.
Good service is important. Moreover, it is also a new restaurant here.

I am very surprised to read about the crap service from a new restaurant. This type do not deserve any visit as there are ample good
seafood restaurants in Klang Valley.

i wonder why restaurants do this? just refuse to accept that people will make it a point and take the trouble to tell as many people as possible when they've had a horrible experience.

I think levels of service in Malaysia generally are pretty bad when compared with other countries as Malaysians are not the type to complain too much. i think language communication is another problem particularly now that foreigners are usually providing the service and cannot speak any of the languages common to Malaysians.
There was an interesting article in the Star about this at the weekend.

bad meh in malaysia in general?
given that these wait staff are getting paid peanut! i am not complaining.

I dun find that in those countries where wait staff are paid >Rm30/hour is anywhere 'better', if you know what I mean!

Think we should give them some time. Bound to have hiccups during opening especially when it is crowded.

Just had lunch there today, fried asam talapia in lotus leaf is good, fried pork meatballs and vege are average. Price is reasonable, but not cheap.

They realised it was kelam kabut during weekends because of the way orders were taken i.e. using numbers instead of the description, which waiters are not used to. Now they revert back to conventional system.

Good place to ta pau dishes if don't you don't feel like cooking.

Is order taker an old man?
As people get old, they tend to suffer from hearing, vision and short term memory loss.

coz it's not worth spoiling my dinner with crappy service.

i understand old ppl hearing, vision and memory not so good.
But, we repeated our dish name for more than 3 times,if he cant remember or unsure, he can ask.
even he dun wan to reconfirm the order, we actually did for him. Yet, still WRONG!!!

the main point is he is way too RUDE!!!!
1. he dun admit his mistake
2. dun apologize for his mistake
3. show face somemore.

daisy, I am with you. When a bizman is not serious about loosing customers, they dun deserved your repeat biz.
there are more than one eatery in SA.

I had have similar problem last week with one of the night tai chow in SA. I ordered a hokkien noodles, althought when I took over the table, clearly there was an half finished hokkien noodles on the table. Didn't cross my mind that the noodles were bad.

True enuf, noodle served without sambal chili (the typical hokkien noodle chili paste). I asked, they said DUN HAVE.
anywhere, the noodles turned out to be soft, and the taste.....so bad that it's like eating clear soup lou si fan.

I told the lady boss...this hokkien noodles was the worst I ever eaten....and the best she said was "what to do, the noodles came in like that....we soaked them over and over again, but still can't get rid of the smell".....I hardly touched the noodles, and she didn't even tried to perform some PR like offered me refund, or prepare another type of noodle fry.....instead she just walked away.

I won't be back to this stall again, ever......not because of the bad noodles, because of the bad PR. PPL made mistake by cooking a bad food, but you never ever offend a customer! they won't come back!
